Two of us - a gay male writer and a lesbian female writer - decided to create a group for LGBTs who are serious about their writing, and want to share their work in an environment that understands and celebrates LGBT literature. The Dyke March is a protest march, not a parade -- we don't ask for a permit, because we have the right to protest.
